Football hasn’t gotten any easier for Adriano since his failed stint at Roma last season. After his three-year, €15 million deal was terminated in March, he returned to Brazil once again and signed a one-year deal with Corinthians. He then ruptured his Achilles’ tendon a month later and required six months to recover.

Now, having finally made his debut for the club and looking more like Retired Ronaldo when he played there, he finally scored his first goal — an 88th minute winner against Atletico MG that showed a glimpse of his old self.
